Masterclasses

Tickets on sale September 1st.

Our 2019 masterclasses program is action packed! Presented by SMEG, you can either buy a masterclass ticket and get hands-on with these tasty adventures, or simply attend as a spectator (and watch everyone else have all the fun). Either way, you’ll need to have a general admission ticket to the festival first.

Masterclasses tickets are $25 each and will be released on September 1st.

THE ART OF SEASONING

Alice and Chris’s East Coast business, Tasman Sea Salt, is at the very cutting edge of the “Tasmanian Food Revolution”. Their masterclass takes in techniques for brining and curing and pairs their sea salt flavours with some iconic Tasmanian produce.

Teenage Foodies

Yes, this is a hands on cooking classed for teenagers who love to cook! Chef Melanie has cooked in some of Tasmania’s best restaurants but more to the point, she has 3 teenagers of her own. She will guide the class with tips and tricks on how to “cook to impress” family and friends! Class restricted to teenagers only – your oldies are welcome to look on from the “gallery”!
